There's a place at the hinge of your gas door that you can stick the cap onto

That spot on the hinge doesn't work well. The cap slides off and bangs onto the side of the car.

Here's where I put it, which Lexus designed for it... Out of the way and functional...

Thanks for the pics wulfstan! I was wondering about this also. It's probably in the manual somewhere. But I have been too lazy to read that entire thing. Where are you in VA?

Chesapeake, VA

I go to cars and coffee every once in awhile, in Virginia Beach...

Here's a more level pic...

Oops! The cap does snap into the hinge. I'm getting old and senile.

The gas cap holder is very innovative. Also, the automatic fuel door locking feature is nice...no need to engage a fuel door release to add gasoline.

Cool. I grew up in Newport News. In the Raleigh, NC area these days. I get up that way every so ofter. I'll have to get to one of the cars and coffee in Va Beach one of these days.

Thanks again for the insight on the gas cap. I have been letting mine swing when refueling. Now I know I have a spot for the cap the next time!
