Have tried more than 4 different petrol stations, but all same problem.
I am sure its something because of my car' s fuel tank system.

As known LS400 fuel gage is divided to 5 lines.

I believe tank can hold 21.9G in 2000,LS400
While refilling gas tank from needle on 1st line Empty to be full.
It only fill up with 14.8G !! having fuel needle on 4th line.

The station pump cutts off & sometimes it splashes extra fuel out from filler nick. It's something like the station pump feeling that tank is full.

any idea what to do! BTW i have the repair manual but it shows only the diagram for the fuel tank system & its parts.
No CEL codes on car.

mayb ur fuel gauge isnt working right. about the cutoffs at the pump tho, i remember over the summer a few of the stations by me had a $55 limit per fill up, it was a pain caz for a full tank it ran over $80 for me, i think they were trying to limit ppl to only $55 each worth of gas due to the gas crisis over the summer

i think fuel gage is working 100%

BTW Am from UAE middle east, we export petrol outside, we dont have any crisis in GAS!
