What are the factory allignment settings for...
a 2006 LS430 with the 18 inch rims? I had negative camber issues prematurely wearing out tires leading to a shreading of one tire while driving the interstate. I bought the Megan racing camber kit and had them installed with an allignment, but the rear passenger wheel looks out again. When I had the camber kit put on the mechanic set the camber to zero but it caused a swaying sensation as I drove, like I was being blown from side to side by the wind. I took it back and he said he set the rear wheels to -0.75 camber. Now it rides fine, but that right rear tire looks obviously out far more than the left after about 700 miles.

My suspension knowledge is lacking.

Your post brings to mind another question.
I know negative camber causes inner tire wear, but, does that wear occur faster than if the camber was zero and the wear was spread across the tire?

alil neg camber is ok as long as its withing specs and. check ls430 specs and keep in mind, alil neg camber also improve corning. whats the milage of yur LS. shocks blown, air strut blown, and spring sag or worn suspension parts. and camber does eat tire but not as much as toe. toe is yur enemy

I drive about 40k miles per year but they are 95% smooth interstate miles. I don't do any driving that requires much cornoring. The ride is smooth, doesnt feel like any problems. Thats what bothered me...the shreading of the tire was unforseen.
