Has anyone had door sensor issues?
I've owned my car for a while now and i never noticed it because I don't drive people around, BUT my rear driver side door sensor keeps on going off when ever I am making a right turn and someone leans on it. It is only that door that I am having the issue with but curious if its the sensor or could be more than that. Still fairly new to this car so learning new things everyday...
SO, has anyone had this issue, and is it as easy as replacing the door sensor?

I've had that issue with mine since I got it almost 4 years ago, same door too. I believe they replaced the door sensor but it's been a few years. It doesn't happen as often now. Someone has to really put some weight on the door to make it happen.

Oh man and I thought I was the only one with this issue except mine is on the rear right side and the sensor goes off everytime I make a left turn. I just duct taped the sensor down, problem solved. Ghetto but it works.

Happened to me; I fixed it by super gluing a piece of rubber to the door where it makes contact with the door sensor.

I had a Honda Pilot, and my wife closed the driver's door with the seatbelt still hanging in the door frame. It made a very small little dent at the exact place that the door strikes the sensor for the dome light. So the dome light would not shut off. I found a package of felt pads (like you might put at the bottom of a chair leg) and stuck one in that spot. Worked like a charm.
