I'am having issues with my driver door sensor. The door sensor light on the dash flickers on and off every time you hit a bump in the road. You get the same behavior if you lean your knee against the door. Is there away to adjust the sensor or disable it? What about replacing the sensor, has anyone attempted that, if so how much is the part? Advance thank you for any information that you can share...

 

I don't believe there is any adjustment. It can be replaced, make sure it's not just loose.

 

i had the same problem as you, i just took a piece of cardboard and taped it to the car so it was covering the sensor, problem solved.
