Default Question about PPE headers.

this will be my setup once it's installed. PPE headers to a 3" custom mid pipe with no cats and resonators, to a Meisterschaft GTC axle back exhaust. I was wondering if the O2 simulators or conditioners that come with the headers would prevent my check engine light from coming on. Does that mean that the o2 monitors will be ready? Or would they say not complete. Do you guys think I'll break 400whp with this setup? I am planning on putting my car on the dyno once everything is installed to find out. I would like to know how much power you guys are making with a similar setup.

Yes, when installed correctly the PPE o2 conditioners will prevent a CEL. BTW, have you looked at the full PPE Dual Mode Exhaust?

Wait, PPE makes a dual mode exhaust?
This whole time, i thought it was just Meisterschaft and Novel that makes dual mode exhausts for the F.

Damn. That looks like a really nice setup. I would have totally went for that whole setup. Unfortunately it's too late. I've been rocking the mid pipe and meisterschaft for about 6 months now. Just waiting for the PPE headers to come in.

Do you know if the O2 monitors show "ready" when running the O2 conditioners?

I am interested in this answer as well.

Also - can anyone recommend a shop in the St. Louis area to have these installed?

Yeah the PPE dual mode looks amazing, but just like other dual mode exhausts will set you back a pretty penny. I was going to pull the trigger, but it was close to $5000 if I remember correctly. Too rich for my blood.

^^^^Price it again. If you were looking at Figs site, the pricing was in error. It's been corrected.

Also keep in mind we still have the test set from our vehicle that we used for an install video production and dyno that we can offer at an additional discount.

you will be fine, I have PPE headers with a Greddy exhaust which has no resonators or cats. Straight piped all the way to the muffler.
