Default i need help with the mph meter.

Hello everyone. I am new to Cl and recently i came across a small problem. it is not a big of a deal but its bothering me a lot. oh, almost forgot i have an is350. anyways, the tip of my meter light does not work anymore and i was wondering if there is any way i can fix it. my warranty just over and i took it to lexus dealership and they told me in order to fix that i have to replace the whole desk which will cost me 1k+ . plz help!!! thank you for your time and here is the picture.

Looks like it'll be a custom job or a replacement from the stealership. I think there was a thread floating around here regarding custom lights for the dash. Can't find it now sorry

My needle is the same way. Not too worried about it since im planning on swapping them out. Contact LED guy, got a quote from him which is way better than the stealer ship. Plus he can swap out all your dash lights.

So I quickly looked at my needles this morning and I didn't notice the tips being lighted. I remember they used to...Are they supposed to be lighted all the time or only specific times (ie when you start the car, etc)??? Anyone have a picture of the instrument panel when the tips are lighted??
