DVD Error
Just got an '08 GS350 Nav/ML and today the CD/DVD player stopped working (wouldn't play, load, eject or change a disk). On the screen appeared DVD Error.. Although I had no actual DVDs in the player, just CDs.. either way it wouldn't play..
I accessed the service menu in the NAV and there are four sets of the error code 45-44.. I don't have any idea how to fix and haven't attempted anything except turning the ignition completely off and then on again .. this did not fix the issue.. If anyone has had the same problem and can elaborate please advise.. Thank You in advance!
WTF??? Car only has 300 miles on it!

There are 2 very easy ways to solve this. 1) Disconnect the battery for at least 15-20 seconds and reconnect...or 2) Take it to your Lexus service dept for warranty.

I'll definitely try that in the morning. The though did cross my mind, but didn't want to try anything without the input from others ... Thank You!

Update :
Went down to get in the car this morning and still have the same problem. I decided to bring it by the dealership and have them take a look at it. On my way to the dealership I was talking on the bluetooth (everything else working fine!) and when I hung up I start to hear the disc player shuffling discs again - which it hadn't done for the last 12 hours. The disc started to play again and the problem went away without doing anything but talking on the phone - could've been a coincidence.. When I arrived at the dealership they read the error code and said the problem was with the disc changer itself and was not electrical (thank goodness). They cleared the code and the problem has not come back today. Lexus will replace the changer if this happens again.. I'll keep my fingers crossed!
