Default DVD Player sensitivity?

Last week, I did the NAV hack on my ML system. It was so nice to be able to have some movies available for my passengers to watch while we were heading out of town.

The first movie we watched worked perfectly. The second movie, couldn't seem to load. Well, I should say, it loaded into the player, but it wasn't able to bring up the menu for the movie. So, I couldn't watch it. I thought maybe I just had a bad DVD. After failing with the bad DVD in the car, I put the good one back in, just to make sure it still worked, and it did.

When I got home, I placed the 'bad' DVD into my home player, and it worked just fine.

Anyone else experience something like this?

Was it a burnt DVD? Or an original one?

Some burnt DVDs don't work.

As far as the techinical stuff behind the reasoning -- I don't now...
