Has anyone else run into problems with certain DVD A's that do not play in the Gen-3 ML system? I have found a couple of these DVD's that when inserted will not show up as anything in the display, but I do not get any errors. I suspected that it had to do with needing to see the opening video screen and selecting play from there but you can't even get that far. When I asked the dealer about it he could not get anyone at Lexus to say anything other than it's not intended to play DVD A's so there is not guarantee.....

I can not play DVD-A at all out of my 23 disc, :-( but also my car is soo full of problems it isnt on the top things to try to get fixed, i did go to the dealer tell them they said they tryed 2 other cars with the same ml as mying. and they didnt work the said could be the disc. or lexus needs to tell them what to do because they cant do anything.

 

I have a couple of these and can say that the sound is amazing compared to a standard CD. In addition I have the DVD mod so that I can also watch the music videos that is also on the Audio DVD disk. I agree that you don't see anything on the playlist screen for some reason the player doesn't recognize the Audio DVD.
