Default Sonax vs Iron X

both seem to react with iron, both turn red, appear to have similar ingredients. Can I use Sonax on the whole vehicle?

I have no experience using Sonax on paint, but from what I have read it is not advised to use Sonax Full Effect Wheel Cleaner on your paint.

IronX can be used on both paint and wheels.

Sonax is PH neutral but I would never use it on paint! Why would you want to do that?

May I ask what is the reason for this? If there are some mild stains in the paint, cleaner wax can get rid of this or abrasive polishes.

The reason for what?? Not using Sonax on the paint? I'd say simply because that is not its purpose... it is a wheel cleaner.

Your argument of using a cleaner wax or polish is not logical... it's like saying "yeah, you can just wash your car with paint thinner... if it messes it up, you can just repaint it."

No point in risking potential damage when there are products made specifically for these various functions.

i really don't think you would want to put SFEWC on your paint... you can, but let us know how that works for you.
