Default Lexus ES300 B Pillar Repair

The B pillars on my ES300 have really become faded, so I decided to buy some Polycarbonate pillar covers for them, rather than buying the B pillar itself. I bought a pair off ebay for $35. I've posted some pictures below for the before results, i will upload the after results in the next few days.

Here are the results. I think that for $35, this is fantastic. It's apparently scratch resistant too.

I actually replaced mine with new OEM Lexus pillars on the 01 ES300 several years ago but the clearcoat failed on it after about 3 years. It's funny because the car was mainly garage kept during those times and rarely driven and always waxed/sealed. IEven now it has virtually no swirl marks, but does have clearcoat failure on both sides.

I'm gonna plastidip them matte black!

Plastidip isn't a bad idea at all. If my pillars ever fade or become scratched, i might just do the same!
