The rear door had 3 globs of foam. Now it has 3 bigger blobs of glue.

I've never seen such a busy door. The air bag setup with what look like stainless steel air lines was interesting. I removed the speaker to install the adhesive.

The right side is good, no gap. I had the bumper on and off 3 times trying to perfect the lines.

After a short drive it pops out 1/8". I'm going to use some adhesive to hold it in place. This was an issue before the hitch was put on.

This clip is just a little weak. If I slightly lift up on the bumper the gap disappears.

Both sides need to be shaved down about 1/2" I installed the bumper checked gaps then pushed on the bumper to find out where it was contacting the foam. Then I removed the bumper shaved the foam down a bit more and repeated. Pushing on certain locations of the bumper while it is installed will close the fender gaps just a bit to give you an idea of where to shave more foam down.

If you don't shave off these locations the bumper will have a slight gap.

I removed the bar to thin out the foam in the area surrounding it. I removed about 1/4" I did not reinstall the bar.

Don't forget to reinstall these plastic spacers. They help hold the foam in place.

This clip holds the bumper to the fender. I thought it might be damaged as the bumper kept popping off a bit. Everything looked ok, no damaged clips.

There was also a seam with a crack. I used some silicone to seal it. I'd guess it was replaced at some point but I'm not positive. I've seen other LS's that had the same sealant job around them.

8 new longer bolts. I used M8-1.25x30 But honestly I think they need to be a little longer. M8-1.25x35mm would be better. Grade 10.9

Once all of the bolts were started they all tightened down normally. Whatever was out of alignment got sucked into place without a struggle. It's possible the alignment pin was to blame.

That is a 3/8" extension. The hitch is flush on the other side. The hitch didn't rock much when flat on the concrete. Something was out of whack.

The bottom tray needs to be trimmed just a bit to fit the hitch.

I opened up both the top and bottom holes. The bottom hole had some rust in it. I ran a bolt in and out a few times to clean it up. (with some oil)

I'm assuming the car was repaired at some point. It seems unlikely the factory would have done shoddy work like this. I used a dremel tool to open up the hole enough to get a new bolt in.

Next up is to pop off these 2 plastic spacers. They cover up a few of the holes that give access to the bolts.

A slight tug of the bumper will release it. I pull on the sides of the bumper away from the car first. This releases the fender clips. Then the bumper will come off fairly easily.

There is another bolt and 1 clip to remove from under the car near each wheel. Both are easy to see and access from under the car.

There are a few more clips on the very back of the bumper on the bottom.

1 bolt is accessible through the fender liner. The fender liner just pushes out of the way. Then the bolt has access.
