are they cheaper ??? i didnt get a chance to check up the prices. since for some odd reason their jp website doesnt post it. unless i missed it. i know someone that has it. i was messing around with him, and was like lets switch suspension. he was like if you gave me 4 grand. i still think that is a hefty price :[ or i think its just my broke studentness kickin in. yea once you have something go wrong with the tanabe cobra air. your just S*** out of luck. since i hear there is no usa warranty on them.

i got my cst for 1400. on uas website they list the kit for 2300. so than my totally would be 3700 :]. saved a couple hundred bucks tehehehe. but just gota build up money now fore the uas if anything.

There are alot of threads on this topic .. I personally have bugged V8 many many times ...

But If you want to run a coilover set up it needs to be 2.14 diameter across to be able to allow the bag to run across ... Tein Has don't have that so cant use them ..

I have the kyb gr2 shocks ordered from UAS bags and brackets with shocks and the rest is custom ..

But I like my ride quality .. and don't think I would need coils bags and edfc .. I ain't not cornering in to turns but i know with UAS I can if I want to .. thats a huge piece of comfort for me to know

i could just go with the air runners and call it a day but it seems to me that the air runners are much more for height adjustment then performance...if i can go with the UAS, EDFC, Coilovers and its cheaper then gettin the air runners and it has a better stability and performance then there is no sense in goin with the air runners....then again i could be completely wrong in my logic and thinking
I like the route you're taking before you pull the trigger on an air system but I have to tell you, youll never know what you really like until you actually get a system, any system. With high dollar air suspensions you'll hear people say its the best ever, but sometimes its just thier justification for spending so much money on the system. Most people have to start somewhere, after you get on air, you'll soon realize there are things you like and things you don't like about it, air leaks, size of the system, performance, ease of install, ease of controllers, things like that.

From personal experience you wont know what air ride you'll like best unless you actually drive the car, being a passenger does not count either. As for the overkill on the UAS + Tein + EDFC....i think that is total overkill unless you already had the Tein/EDFC. how many things will you adjust until you find the "right" setting for yourself, ride height on the bags, the perch height on the teins (your front end will only go so low especially if you have 20's the upper car frame will just rest on the tire[see picture below]), the setting of the 16-Way dampning, its just too much if you ask me...

I say pull the trigger on something, anything, cause air is definately sick but till then you'll never know what you REALLY like.

they're cheaper but you get what you pay for. I've talked to a few Aristo owners with Air Cobra but haven't anything good yet.

the UAS system is about 2200-2500 you can check them out at

www.universalairsuspension.com
Thanks for the link.

The Cup design can be ridden when up no problem from what I know. Although, my friend had a tiny leak installed on purpose so that over time it would go back down. That was done so that there was no build up in the system. By the way, the friend I am referring to is the High End Top Secret Supra that you see everywhere, and he does drive it to every show, so that gives you an idea of how well the setup is. Although he also has Top Secret coilovers $$$$$ made by Aragosta.

I build up of what?

I leave my system with air in weeks at a time and it never built up anything. The only time I deflate and inflate it is at shows or meets and on rare times I have to demo my system. I see no reason for releasing air on purpose, not unless I want to over work my compressor.

Yes, the cups can be driven with air in them. I drive on them to local shows, and it rides like butter.

People usually go for full air like air runner. Ive seen someone on the new tanabe cobra air which is a very interesting setup.
airrunner does not use koni or kyb shocks
