the more you make your shocks work, the more stress you put on it. when u ride dumped, you'd probably be riding on shocks and not the air spring. way too much stress. you should never deflate or inflate your bag fully while driving. it just creates way too much stress on everything including the bag. either way, slip-over air springs will cut down the lifespan of the shocks by a lot. u can get away with dampening adjustable shocks to "prolong" the shocks, making it more tolerable against the bags but you'd probably go through a set of shocks at most 4-5 years compared to the normal 5+. i'll show you what i mean when i see you sometime chris. i just need to clean up my trunk cause everything's starting to fall apart =x
ooh yeah and they have the double convoluted airbag on them like you had previously mentioned!

yeha, im calling bull**** on the whole thing
Your ride at around 80-100 psi will be EXACTLY, like it was when you had hte spring on (maybe 70 or so for you stock guys)

I run 80PSI, and it is the EXACT same ride on my coilovers as with the spring.

In fact, its seeing track time at the beginning of FEB

What grant said. At 80 psi, my coils feel like they did when just the spring was on there, I drive at 70 front 65 rear for a lower more comfortable stance and ride, but will occasionally pop it up to 80 for corners.

I can't imagine how long the stock oem struts will last with these bags. give it 4 -6 months at most.

Thats why I chose to spend the extra cash and get dampening adjustable coilovers that use high spring rate/short springs and were built for them. Bilstien HD struts or sport struts if driven at a decent height will give you a lot more life, but even on factory struts unless you are driving your car slammed and really hard in corners, you should be fine for a couple years.

I know DriftGirl is running bags and factory shocks on her GS she has had for a while and reports no problems.
