Watch-out for Shine Auto Project
I have no problem with Shine, I have their carbon diffuser for my Supra. The fitment and quality is top notch. it sure beat the $1500 price tag Top secret was demanding along with a 3 month import wait.
I will be buying a Shine Auto aero kit for my MK3 Supra as well. I will also highly recommend them as their parts were of great quality and they were packaged and shipped in a ver professional manner.
I think its stupid to pay outrageous pricing markups. I don't care who made the product or designed the product.

i think it's stupid to judge the price of authentic goods by the price of replicas.
next time that guy at work takes credit for your idea don't be mad. he just thought it was stupid to actually do the work when he could just steal yours and reap the benefits.
good thing shine could justify the price of authentic goods or you wouldn't have any knockoffs. then again, they knew they'd make their money back quick off inexpensive copies.

Dont worry Dave...
I think the majority of the salty folks on this thread are angry that Shine makes a decent copy and decent fitment of otherwise pricey items they have or plan to pay 200%-300% markup for.
Think about that the next time you buy CVS brand items on sale with your CVS club card
you guys crack me up, whining like little kids about knock offs.

you're mistaking enlightened for "salty".
i always find it funny when those who support replicas try and point fingers at those who do not. can you really find fault in spending money to buy authentic, orginial parts? (rhetorical for the sake of not going back and forth)
anyways, my statements are never intended for those who have already made their decision. either you see it or you don't. if you rock rep, that's cool. i hope you're happy with your purchase. rather, it's something for those who have not chosen a position yet to think about.
there's a much bigger picture than "what can i put on my car for how much?". support the companies that take away from the original companies long enough and eventually there will be no original parts to copy. bring the baseline for cost down low enough and the general quality of mods will eventually follow.
with this thread being in the vip forum there is another consideration: vip is a borrowed style and there are a lot of enthusiasts dedicated to keeping the style true.

generic pharmaceuticals are a legal program in lieu of an actual health care system or prescription price regulation. even so, manufacturers are covered under patent protection for decades to recoup the costs associated with developing and marketing new drugs.
knockoff products are, besides being unethical, illegal. they are violations of international copyright by virtue of being stolen intellectual property.
if you want to compare it at least compare it to something similar. let's stick to illegal, cosmetic, luxury items for the sake of apples to apples.
