"dumpin" my rx
i have an 00rx300
how much would "bags" cost. someone tell me more about air suspension and what i'm lookin at..
I would love to leave my car stock but put "bags" on it so i can "dump" it in a parking lot. haha as you can tell i really have no idea what i'm talking about, but i'd love to be told moreee

oh..
the rx on airrunner's site isnt that great. it jus like lowers it. if i put bags i want my car to look "dumped"..im guessing that means what i really want--the wheels inside the fenders. i dont want a lowered look, i want it to be so low that the rims go up into the car haha, not just lowered..any easy was to fix that or w/e?!

You probably need to consult an air suspension fabricator in your area to achieve the stance that you want. Most SUVs are not made to be lowered on it's frame. There might be parts under the truck that might hang lower than the frame itself. Other issues like shorter struts, control arm and wheel well modifications might be needed to get the truck all the way down.

very true .. those kits don't go that low ...at all ... esp from what seen
Hmm wonder how much chopping those springs would help ? if you want a DUMP , Not safe though ... maybe even bouncy

what about skipping the 'dump' and putting on a lift and some 35s?
jk if you could get the rx real low it would look killer
don't laugh to hard at the lift comment, a buddy's x5 is sitting on 44s....

i take corner's quickly as it is, raising it up would not be logical. especially in fl where the tires wear so quickly..
yea i guess you're right about hitting the ground. well i dont think that i need to make it touch the ground, but if the wheels went into the fenders id be so happy

and about that x5. i'm not looking for the "omg dad! look at that x5! holy smokes! it's all the way in the air!" dad-"why the hell."

yeah i figured. he needed his truck up for getting around on the ranch its funny as heck seeing his x5 when its not on the ranch.
i went out and looked at my friends rx i think you could get it pretty dang low changing out the shocks for shorter ones and a nice set of springs.

i mean, i could get custom shocks and springs, but the one's made now are only droppin like an inch. that's not worth it haha..but yea id rather lower than spend tons of money on bags if i could get it low.

im still tryin to slam my car to the ground still no luck.. i dont wanna do any crazy modifications or choppin or cuttin ... but i do need to roll my fenders... the tires are hitting the front and back fender ..
