Yah all wiper arms for all cars are "press fit" onto a splined shaft. standard stuff. but believe me it does wiggle off just using your fingers--yes some are more stubborn than others but i haven't encountered one that hasn't come off with hands yet. just keep it in mind for next time.
push down -- pull up. WD40 if you have to. some may not have a gear puller =) rather spend that $20 on a plug delete kit!

You do it your way and I'll do it mine. I'm not risking a broken window on the "just wiggle it off" method you recommend. Glass is not made to withstand any flex. If a gear puller is used properly, no pressure or flex is applied to the glass.
Ever consider, maybe some of us have a gear puller in the toolbox already...
Just an FYI, the wiper motor shaft on mine is smooth and not splined(see below), not "standard stuff" I guess...

Living out in the boonies(I know it's hard to believe the boonies can exist in CA), I want to help brighten the area near the passenger door to make it easier for my gf to get to the stairs leading to our home...
Door puddle lights. Not the brightest on the planet installed from the LEXUS factory. On my Prius, I went from stock, dim halogen, to a bright LED. This was a simple mod accomplished with merely changing out the halogen bulb to a LED. Simple plug 'n play variety.
Nice 'n bright...
This is a wee bit more difficult on a UX250h, due to the change to a dim LED installed from the factory, using an entirely different plug setup...
So I'm looking to adapt my redneck engineered version, to change out this dim LED from stock, to a multiple LED version designed to fit a different plug. Definitely not as easy as swapping the halogen bulb directly with the LED. The size and shape of the lens is identical to the original. Only major difference is the plugs. This is where the art of redneck engineering will come into play again...
Lens has the same length, same curvature and the same clip system, just different plugs...
To dark for now, so this will be continued tomorrow. Same bat channel...
Yep^ did that to my (first) 21 ES (and my 2nd) 21 ES too. The stock LED is dim. I went with a multi SMD RED LED panel for that euro look. However it was way too bright. At the time I couldn't find any lower brightness LEDs so i returned it to stock. maybe i'll look again. a 12-SMD would be better. All I did was plug the little metal pins of the aftermarket LED into the stock receiving plug and wrapped electrical tape around it. going back to stock is plug and play
This is another "very few will ever see" mod. Only me, myself, I and the Lexus tech doing a service will ever know this is on my Lexus. I took a chance on this fitting properly and made the order. According to the information on the vendor site, this oil filler cap won't fit a Lexus... I used an oil filler cap from my Prius to match the cap to the one on my Lexus, and VIOLA, a perfect match. The site lists the cap as fitting a Prius.
A little over a month ago, I ordered a knockoff JDM TRD black, billet aluminum oil filler cap. I waited for the vendor to restock, for the better part of a month. In a couple of messages last week, I found out the vendor had a gunmetal gray version of the same JDM TRD oil filler cap. So I opted to swap out the black one, for a gunmetal gray version, that arrived earlier today.
I used only the highest tech tools I could think of, for the installation process...
With a schmear of synthetic oil on the threads and the o ring, with my high tech paper towel, I was all set to install the oil filler cap.
The original, plastic Lexus oil filler cap...
To the JDM TRD oil filler cap, with the TRD badge installed...
CAUTION: If you order one of these, be careful the edges are very SHARP!!!
If you look closely to the last image, there's a little blood on the edge of the oil filler cap...

My OCD has been triggering me find a way to fix the Konig wheel center caps. The method I used, creative shaving and grinding, made the original Konig center caps axle specific. Whenever I have the tires rotated, the center caps will have to be popped off and placed on the correct axle(front or rear), to stay in place. So with some Google searching, I found a set of center caps, in the correct size and a little more depth to fit the Lexus axles, to eventually replace the Konig center caps.
One minor problem , these caps are blank... ... and I know I can get custom badges to fit...
Another triggering event, for my OCD... What shall I ever do now?
Ceramic layer 5 all set on my Konig wheels. That should be enough to get me through the rainy season. Or so I hope...
