They need to somehow justify their high prices :-)

Another phase of cosmetic surgery completed today...

Morimoto 4 Banger HXB driving lights installed and working as intended...

I had to go with the single row, evenly spaced location due to the radiator shroud and connections in the grill to keep everything solidly mounted. As it is, a patch of hot glue keeps the center grill section solid. Anywhere else I wanted to mount the lights, it gave too many loose pieces of the grill to flap in the wind and eventually break off...

With the new driving/high beam assist lights on, the yellow fog lights get washed out in the sunlight. I haven't gotten a chance to give the new lights a real test at night, but have no fear, I will SOON... Yes, the new driving lights(HXB's) are much brighter than the fogs(NCS's). No camera tricks involved.

I'm sorry if I'm a wee bit slow switching off the high beams. If this happens to be you heading in the opposite direction, I would recommend wearing a welder's mask to cut the brightness to manageable levels...

Grinding on Santa's lap pays off with an early Xmas gift from a friend...

Never liking the 3M versions of door edge guards, mainly because the crud & grunge that accumulates under the leading edge over time. A friend sent me a set of color matched(085), stainless steel door edge guards for my UX...

My UX is now armed and dangerous with a set of stainless steel door edge guards...

So easy to mount, wipe down the door edge with a quality microfiber rag/alcohol several times. Then just a few taps with a lightweight rubber mallet and VIOLA...

CAUTION: Parking too close may cause severe paint damage to your vehicle...
