Default Lost Key Fob

I lost one of my key fobs - it has to be somewhere in my house because I used it to drive home. Is there any kind of tracker/locator that I can use?

I suspect the FOB is passive until receiving a query from the car. I would search for someone that has built a device that captures the transmission & response signals. Then you might be able mimic the car's signal to get a response. In the end, it will probably be cheaper to just buy a replacement FOB.

It's ~$200 MSRP. Try hypnosis to remember where you left it ;-)

Found it in a sweater pocket! I'm so relieved, but it still would be nice if there was a built-in tracker.

There is no built in tracker. No key in the world, to my knowledge, is that sophisticated, at least not yet. You could get something like a Tile, which clips to your keychain and can be tracked and it beeps.

I don't keep my fob on my keychain because I like to just put it in a pocket when driving and my keychain is bulky. It just seems to me that some kind of tracker app from Lexus would not be that difficult to develop.

Thanks for your motivation! I searched all coat pockets and found my missing fob. Time to attach an apple air tag.
