Annoying safety messages on dashboard.

Default Annoying safety messages on dashboard.
I have a 2026 TX350 AWD that I purchased in October. I absolutely love it, but there is 1 issue I’ve been having that is quite annoying. It usually happens when in stop and go traffic. I see these messages on the dashboard telling me to “Sit up” or “Closed eyes detected” The radio volume lowers and the car starts a dinging sound. I know it is a safety thing, but I’m sitting up and paying attention. Is there a setting I can change so it stops doing that?

I had the "Sit Up" warning de-activated by the dealer.

Thank you! I will add this to my list of things to discuss with the dealer when I go in for my initial 5000 mile service.

I didn't hear about the sit up warning. Is this new since the 2025?

The one that I'd like to turn off is the seatbelt dinging. We always wear our belts, but there are certain instances where we may not have one on and the car will start the incessant dinging that is extremely annoying.

It's the eye monitoring tech near the steering wheel.

Here's how to disable it.

I knew it was a setting! I tried to schedule a session with their tech guy, but could never quite find a time convenient for us both. I just don’t have time to read through the manual either. This forum has been very helpful.

Get a rigid seat belt extender from Amazon to stop the warning ding dong. It also makes it much easier to buckle up.
