Is there a door scuff plate available for the area next to the door sill? All four doors—both front and rear—have a painted section that gets scratched easily when stepping in or out of the car.
Both my wife and I always try to avoid stepping on that area., but my kids need to step there to exit the car, and it’s starting to show some noticeable scratches. Is there an OEM scuff plate that covers and protects that spot, or are we limited to non-OEM options or using PPF?
If PPF is the only option, I suppose I could polish out some of the scratches before applying it. Has anyone else run into a similar dilemma? Thanks in advance!
There's a raised lip on the outer edge that I wish wasn't there. My shoe sometimes contacts that while existing the truck. In a perfect world for me, that raised edge wouldn't be there as I don't think it adds any functionality. If I'd known this before installation, I could have easily knocked it off with a belt sander, but now that it's been installed, trying that could turn ugly.
They work great and do their intended job while fitting in aesthetically.
This site is not so mobile friendly on my iPhone or I'd add a pic, but they fit nicely.

Thank you for the link . I will order that from amazon and give it a try.
Checking in to see how these are working out or if anyone found another option. The metal in the area OP circled is terrible. We discovered very obvious dimples in ours from the kids getting into and out of the second row wearing soccer cleats (over a 1 month period). This hasn't been a problem on our two other SUVs for years. It looks awful now, so aside from adopting a no cleats in the car rule, I am looking for something to cover and protect those damaged spots on our TX (and not just those stickers that would likely still show the underlying dimples).

Same concern.
We went te PPF route. Had it installed same time we tinted the windows. Shop charged $25 per door for PPF. It's barely noticeable. We'll see how long it holds up to foot traffic.
I installed both door foot protectors and ppf on all doors. You almost can’t see the ppf on the edge (painted surface). Looks well blended with TX trims.

I have purchased some 3M PPF film and placed the around that area around the edge part as well.

The Weathertech sill protectors are by far the largest/broadest and best made sill protectors I've found yet.
I put them on my 2026 TX500h F-Sport performance Luxury and 2023 RX350. Just be SURE to put them in on the correct side - they are marked on the UNDERSIDE, with "R" being DRIVER'S RIGHT WHEN FACING FORWARD AND "L" being driver's LEFT facing forward from the driver's seat. The installation instructions are not so clear on this. But they fit the contours of the sills perfectly when in the right way.
Just pick the correct model and year for your car from the Weathertech site - they are fitted and not generic "one size fits all".

I would agree. I was surprised there wasn't any protection there and I could see my family denting and scratching this area. I bought the weathertech scuff plates a couple days after taking delivery of my 2026 TX500h FSL, since I'm lucky enough to live about 30 miles from Weathertech. It's pretty solid and doesn't feel like it's going to come off and I'm pretty happy with them for their purpose.
