I bought my car in to have it checked out. They said I have replace driver side strut. Part could take 2 weeks to 2 months from Japan.
Is it ok to keep driving my car with a bad strut? Should the strut go out this fast car hs about 30k miles?
whise, they are probably just using the word strut interchangeably with shock. If you are out of warranty, how much are you paying? For the price, think about using that money to invest in a set of coilovers, it might just be worth it to you.
Oh and to answer your question, yes you can drive on a blown shock, it might just be a rough ride, but you can do it. That is, if the shock is even blown. They could just be blowing smoke up your A$$.
The car is still under warranty. I brought it to a Lexus dealer and that is what they said they could of said front shocks, I was just worried that warranty wouldn’t cover it. I'm have to see is they order the right part.
