2006 gs300 awd tanabe nf210 question. 2
Same part numer listed, but different drop from 2006 to 2007. how much drop do you think it would drop it and has anybody ran the tein s-tech or is that too low and I risk mad vibrations?
GS300 06-06 spring rate= 4.6 / 5.8 drop= 1.3 / 0.9
GS350 RWD 07-07 spring rate= 4.6 / 5.8 drop= 1.1 / 0.8
GS300 06-06 spring rate= 4.6 / 5.8 drop= 1.3 / 0.9
GS350 RWD 07-07 spring rate= 4.6 / 5.8 drop= 1.1 / 0.8
how'd you like the s-tech? i want the lowest drop possible. i also have AWD but i dont want something that would cause serious vibrations.. what do you suggest?
front = 4.1/230 rear= 5/280
how much stiffer is that? i have honestly no clue about spring rates can anybody chime in? like is it brutal? or smooth ride?
Tanabe DF210s will give you the lowest drop on springs. vibrations at idle and wobbling during accelerations are hit and miss, even with coilovers.
spring rate tells you how much weight is needed to compress the springs. higher the rate, more weight required to depress.

I have not looked under the car, sometimes there is an adjustment on the lower control arms to pull the camber in or out. not sure how it is on this lexus.
has anybody has an alignment with coilovers or springs that drop more than nf210s?
also has anybody blown shocks on this lexus? I have not seen any aftermarket shocks, wonder if you could put a 2wd shock in and just modify it to fit.

rear shocks are the same, but can't modify the front shocks to fit. bottom of front strut is attached by c bracket, then to lower control arm. however, there are f-sport blisten shocks available for IS250AWD.. i wonder if they can be compatible.
