Have you driven the car since? Curious if anything else was effected besides the lights.

I had my 250 in for the recall yesterday and I asked the guys to look at my suspension. I'm AWD on Road Magnets and have BCR coils coming next week.

I told them about the vibration when in Drive with the foot on the brake. They told me that they checked over the whole suspension on a "drive on" lift. There were no loose bolts and they claimed that there were no vibrations coming from the suspension/axles/anything. (I wonder if they really checked the car out with it in Drive on the lift).

They came to the conclusion that it is in fact the exhaust causing the vibrations off the bottom of the body. They experimented with the hangers but could not fix it. When a guy lifted up the rear of the body, they said the vibrations went away. I have not had a chance to try this yet. I do remember someone though with a theory about the energy from the engine causing the rattles.

Anyway, they said that the suspension is fine; no safety/mechanical issues. I'll take that with a grain of salt.

well i found out the reason for all the lights. The spacer must have been off centered and rubbed on the wheel speed sensor and rounded off the ends, as you can see in the pic. at this point im calling quits. i dumped too much into this and now i have to pay for these 2 sensors which are $200 a piece. its been fun but the money i put into this, i can just buy another rack if it goes bad.

wait, so if a set of perfectly centered spacers were created then this wouldn't have happened and we'd have a fix for the wobbles??

im not sure where exactly these spacers go. according to the tuning shop and the paper work i got from them, i installed them where they mentioned, behind the front wheel bearing and on the end of the axle. it didnt fit properly and i figured they were in the wrong spot but i gave it a shot anyway. bad decision on my part.

that sucks maybe someone else that lives near the shop can give it a go and have them install it? i'd hate to hear that you've come so far only to be back at square one.

damn dood. sorry to hear that the experiment cost you 400 on top of the fabrication. guess we'll just have to deal with the wobbles....just until i buy a LS. lol.

yeah. for the amount of money you've spent, you could have bought a replacement axle...

well the bright side is i think we found our solution, we just need the shop to show exactly where the spacer goes. thanks for your hard work and generosity IXI187IXI
