Tein CST install, pics, and review
Hey guys. finally got the coilovers installed today at dynocomp in Scottdale. She looks amazing in my book. The stance really set the car off. I am loving it. The car rides great. I am not sure what the drop is, but its less than a finger width and hasnt settled yet. I will probably have them raise the car .25" front and rear once it settles. I just took my wife for a ride and had the shocks set to zero, and she said it felt really nice, similar to the tein H techs I had before the CST coilovers. I cant believe that the car rides as well as it does as low as it is and with such a low profile tire (30). I had the edfc mounted in the console to be hidden. I am currntly crusing around at the shocks set to 1 and it feels very very comfortable. I have ti admit that when you stiffen it up the change is nothing insanely drastic, I just feel more of the cracks in the road surface. All in all the set up cost $1590 for the coilovers, $399 for the edfc, $400 for coilover install,$196 for edfc install and wiring, and $125 for alignment. After everything was said and done it cost just under 3k after taxes. I know it sounds really high for you cali guys , but I still think it was a great deal. All went smooth with the install other than the shop needing to keep the car overnight and me having to rent a car to get home, and I took today off . All in all I am happy I did it, and I would recommend this set up to any member who wants to really drop your car while maintaining solid comfort and drivability . It passed the wife test. She was happy with the ride quality . When I asked what she thought of the stance she said it looked a little aggressive, but to leave it the way it was. I will probably burn up this set of falkens before I raise her up slightly.
When I had my G35 I used to walk up to the car and sometimes think to myself " god I cant believe thats my car" because she looked so damn good. Now I feel that way about my lexus. Now when I am rolling around she really turns heads. I will be entering Hot Import Nights in Phoenix this year with the car looking a little lower because of settling. After the show I will probably raise her up a little. I am loving the flexibility that the coilovers give.

Looks Great!
Yeah if you change it to 16 and your on the highway those slight bumps become nothing but mine are set to 0-0!
Post some more pics of it!
Wait it will go a bit lower once the springs settle in!

I am totally content to leave it at 0. Seriously I just cruise in this car. I will store in some higher settings but I am going to leave it on the lower side of the spectrum. No track days in this big girl. I am wondering what shell look like when she settles. I am liking the look, but I dont want to scrape the lip on steep driveways, or dips at moderate speed.

No rubbing at all. I have a 245/30 up front so it should be ok even if I slam her. Plus I have a more conservative offset in the rear. My wheel guy shaved off 5mm to change the offset in case I slammed the car or loaded it with large passengers. I am really happy with it . If I have some rubbing issues in the future after she settles I will raise her up a little. again a huge advantage to the coilovers . When you factor in the edfc and the flexibility it provides this car can really suit the needs of any kind of driver
