where can i buy the handbook?

you can't even tell what's slammed and what's vip! this is vip AND slammed

and it looks very much like a 50k luxury car. coilovers settling? i will give it AT MOST 1/4 inch, from your pic maybe you can call low, but far from slammed. only a handful guys here on CL that i call them vip people (even me i am just half way)

ok, i know this is the nth time i touched this topic, good idea to leave now

Slammed or not, I like that car. There was a time when your car would have unanimously classified as slammed, but now we are in the "age of air" so things are a little different.

I understand your viewpoint though, for the GS's that you typically see, your car seems lower than dogpoo on the ground! lol

Anyways, I like your setup man, really clean. Enjoy it.

Thanks for the kind words guys. I am happy with the ride height. I might lower it more before HIN this year then jack her back up right after the show. I am so tired of changing tires every 8-9 months. I did that in my last car I dont want to do it with the GS.

The dudes car you showed has to be on air. The center of the car is half an inch off the ground. If he is on coilovers he is a little crazy. The car looks cool, but you have rendered a 50K luxury sedan useless with a set up like that. Air suspensions are cool, but the cars dont ride low all of the time like cars with coilovers set to max drop. There is a guy in last months heavy hitter who "slammed " his LS460. 6" rear drop and 5" front drop on JIC magic coilovers. Car looks cool, but the owner was saying that he cant drive the car more than once or twice a week because the tires go every 4k miles. I drive 20-24k miles per year so that kind of a drop is not for me. Can you imagine spending 5k in one year on tires. Thats for shop owners who write it off on the company taxes.

Huh? I'm not aware of this problem; could you please explain why there would be a left side sag with coilovers?

what I meant is that with a spring generally you get more setteling on the left side(drivers side) because the chronic weight distribution asymmetry created by the driver big *** ( I am 6'5" 300lbs). Or at least I do with my large size and weight. with a normal tein h tech set up I had the car sagging on the left after 9 months of driving . With coilovers you will be able to rasie that left side IF it starts to sag. So the coilovers are a great solution to this problem. I am not saying all members will have the sagging problem with springs, but I do, and it seemed well known to other members. I also had the same issue in my G35 sedan with the Tanabe springs

Ah, gotcha! I'm 5"11, 158 lbs. I don't need to worry about the left side sag for me! Thx for the clarification

thanks vboy. I am thinking I may lower it a little more in the rear so even her *** out. The rear is set at a finger gap as well, but with the larger sidewall of the 275/30 over the 245/30 in the front the car is a hair giger in the rear than in the front overall. I am going in for my set up adjustment and realignment in 3 weeks. I am waiting a little longer than most bec in my past experiences the car needs more than a week to settle. I would say you probably want to put at least 1000 miles on the springs befoe realignment. I did it once after a week in my g35 and it needed it again . I didnt realize and still ended up eating a set of toyos in 9 k miles.

I was driving to see DL hughley at a comedy club tonight. On the way down there on the freeway I noticed some flashes. I realized it was a couple of teenage boys in a van, with what looked like a parent, were taking pitures of the car. when they pulled along side of my car and I got peace signs from the 2 obvious tuner fans. Cool kids.
