Default Tein Flex's: Install

Hey guys,

Should be getting my Tein Flex's soon. Have been stuck on the docks for a while now and Steve should be sending within a week. Just wanted to see if there is anything anyone can share with me before I get them installed by one of my frineds. Also wanted to hear peeps opinions and thoughts about them and the installation. Any help would be appreciated.

FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS EXACTLY.

I have seen a couple of SEVERLY screwed up installs on the FLEX. The key difference of the FLEX to most other coilovers is that it's height adjustable TWO WAYS. Make sure the bottom of the coilover is adjusted evenly on ALL 4 coilovers...

Like I said, just follow the instructions...the English version is available on Tein's website...look under the tech section...

The link has all the coilover instructions that Manaray was speaking of.

Is installing coilovers easier than installing springs because maybe you dont have to compress the spring?

Sandrock, in that respect, yes. The only trick is to have it adjusted somewhat correctly before you install it...it makes it easier to "fine tune" the height after you get it all back together...

The Tein FLEX (and many other coilover systems) come as a "complete" unit that you just install...
