Just wanted to ask, does adjusting the AFS like this have any negative effect? I guess what I'm asking is if your doing the turn-the-screws-in-the-engine method or the AFS-10mm-adjustment-nut method, do either of these affects the AFS differently? Don't want to burn my AFS out lol

it won't burn out afs, but if you don't do it correctly, your headlight aim will be out of spec of course

Just got my GS lowered and the AFS light is flashing it's butt off. Good thing I read this thread so I'll be crawling under the car tomorrow. If all fails, I'll take it to the dealer.

Thanks to this thread, the blinking AFS light is gone, but I think I messed up something in the front leveling arm. As I was working on the adjustments, I loosened 2 10mm nuts on the leveling arm, when I tried to tightened it the 2 nuts won't tightened. Could it possibly a loose thread since the bolt turns when I turn the nut?

I'm using the same image from the previous post just to give you guys an idea.

It's the top 2 nuts where the sensor with the plug and the top elbow that I can't tightened.

hey guys if someone can help me out a bit, my AFS lights is constantly on, reading this forum i took my rear driver side wheel off and found out that me bracket was is bent as shown in picture. my question now is which nut/bolt should i unscrew to fix the bent bracket into a L shape. If someone can refer to the from 1 to 4. 1 is the top bolt by the sensor and bolt 4 being at most bottom.

Loosen bolt 4 and point bracket vertical. Looks like it was moved to an angle from your pictures.
