The HAs will also give you the stiffest ride out of the three popular ones on CL: HA, Flex, and CS. The CS will be the softest but will still increase handling performance. I have the Flex, somewhere in the middle. How firm you like your ride is all subjective and everyone's butt-o-meter is different. It is hard to tell what you mean by "firm up myshocks". There are those here who have the HAs and love them. Lowering-wise, any of the three will allow you the 2" drop you want.

what i want is to eliminate that floaty feeling when going over bumps on the freeway.. it feels like the car is gonna lose control. .
There's probably hundreds of threads on here about TEIN coilovers, but the punch line is that the models vary in overall ride stiffness from CS to Flex to HA.
i still love my HAs if i had to do it again i think i'd go with the HA's but this time with upper mounts... Even if i dont have the dual height adjustability.
JIC FLT-A2 is too stiff... So is Cusco And Tanabe, HKS is too soft... i want something in the range of TEIN HA, but with more stiffness adjsutability, is there anything out there like this!?
i had HA before, it was awesome in terms of best bang for the bucks. but i am telling you, it is VERY stiff. if you want closer to stock ride, forget it. my flex is a lot better in that matter
I have the TEIN HA's and I love it. It is stiff but IMO its not that bad. If you set it in 0/0 it rides just like stock, I think a little softer than stock if you ask me.

The HA kit does not come with the "pillow ball mounts"
Try doing a search function on here, its been well discussed in the past.
Also, does anyone know if TEIN is releasing any new coilovers in the future? A local TEIN distributor told me that TEIN is making a new coilover that you can adjust the height without taking off the wheel. Sorta like hydralics, kinda. Thats all the details that I got.
