Default tein reliability?

I was looking into getting a set of tein (flex), but question the reliability over the bilstien shocks i currently have. Bilstien has a lifetime warranty....so i would never need to buy shocks again. What about the tein? Will that last a long time or will they need to be rebuilt after a few years? If so, are they rebuildable by a customer?

What's the longest anyone has used them? (in miles and time)

anyone have any input on this subject?

I've had my Tein CS for 15 months now and have had no problems so far. I would imagine that these coilovers can go for a long time.

Jim, I have heard the flex are kinda stiff, especially with the bumps in your part of town, you probably want to go with the CS

Well, dunno bout you guys, my friend got JIC FLTA2 coilover on his, and the ride was pretty comfortable for me and him. I guess it is just depens on what you are looking for. If you are looking for performance, you need to lose some of the comfort. The good thing about JIC FLTA2, it has 15 ways dampening adjustable, so you can almost match the stock ride quality. Also, i heard that they are rebuiltable and no offense to TEIN users, i heard a lot of nice things about JIC than TEIN.
I am getting one for myselft too pretty soon. I just got my JIC 505S Ti exhaust system. That thing is sweeeetttt...
Sounds nice, not loud like those cheap @$$ exhaust system.

I've been using Tein suspensions for around 5 years now and have never had any problems with them on any of my cars. I am currently using the CS suspension on my GS400 with TRD sway bars and 18 inch wheels and tires. the balance between handling and comfort is perfect IMO. I have my STI if I want super duper handling but I love my Tein suspensions and would never consider using anything else ever.
