Default Newbie Here.....need lowering spring advise

I literally just got a completely stock 2009 IS250 this morning with only 35k miles in mint condition. So far i love it!! But Being that I've always had heavily modded/ lowered muscle cars, the stock wheel gap on this car is annoying me. I dont want to spend and arm and a leg. Performance isn't really important due to this being my daily driver. I just want to lessen the wheel gap.
I'm thinking about getting the megan lowering springs (1.25" drop all around) since they are a recognized brand at a good price.

My question is.....can i install them and get the car aligned? Or do I need more suspension components for this setup to correct cambet etc? Again, i don't want to spend an arm and a leg. If the total cost is too high, I guess I'll just suffer with the wheel gap. Lol.
My near future plans in addition to lowering the IS250, are getting aftermarket rims, maybe an intake, thats it. Keeping it simple.
Thank you in advance for any help/ direction you can give me.

I have H&R lowering springs for now. Just ordered some Fortune Auto 500 series coilovers. The springs ride well and eliminate the gap perfectly. I actually won’t lower it too much more with the coils since I actually enjoy driving my car.

Nice. Were you able to get your car aligned after the spring install? Or did u need other supporting suspension mods.

You'll be able to get an alignment done, yes; however, your front/rear camber might be off to a point where you cannot adjust it any more with the factory components. That is where one might want to invest in camber arms. But keep in mind, TOE is leading culprit to tire wear, not so much camber.

You may need shocks at some point. I’m switching to Coils due to having a bad shock at 65k miles. But I am considering the Figs toe links. But probably not doing control arms and such. I’m not into being slammed and all that. I also have the RCF lca bushings though.

ok makes sense. Jeez this car is so sensitive to being lowered. Lol. All My camaro and g8 needed was camber bolts and could be aligned perfectly. What is needed to adjust toe? Or is that something that can be adjust on the stock set up? Thank you for the info.

I never bought any additional parts to align my car. And I have minimal tire wear. Youll be ok on springs.

Cool. Thanks for the info. I feel a little more at ease now to go ahead and lower the car with springs.

Like the camber arms, you'll not necessarily need need the toe arms. But if your toe gets out of whack and cannot be adjusted back to factory specs, aftermarket toe arms are available.
