Default Lowering

Im thinking of lowering my car, but Im a noob as these moding stuff. So if someone could inform me about what particular brand they suggest and how much I should lower it.

First off I have a 2006 IS250 AWD, I noticed that the wheel gap is huge. I want to lower it so that I could eliminate some wheel gap, but as the same time stay safe so that I don't go to low that I scrape. Because I do have a hill on my drive way and I dont want to damage my OEM lipkit while going up.

So please give suggestions, Thank you for your time.

so from what I read you want to minimize the wheel gap but not go too low. There are two decisions. Springs or coilovers. Springs are the springs alone and the coilovers have a combo of the spring and shock which is height adjustable. Some springs are Eibach, H&R, and Road Magnet (lowest drop at 2'). I think since you just want a bit of lowering you'd be fine with springs as your drop. Good luck deciding and welcome to CL.

thought Filipino's were efficient? lol check out members rides for the types of drops. There's a member on here, toHn that has road magnets (2 inch drop) with 19's and it looks amazing. There's other members here with F sport springs, spacers and 18's and it looks amazing. Everyone has a preference and a ride quality. Research before you just buy! It took me 3 months before I made the purchase and decision to go with my springs.
