Default Shocks/Struts For IS 350

So I’ve been running swift lowering springs with kyb shocks for almost a year now, but the car doesn’t absorb bumps on the road very well. Before I changed my stock suspension the car was feeling rough and I suspected it was the shocks. Ive rarely seen any negative reviews on the swift springs so I don’t think this it’s what’s causing the rough ride. I was wondering if changing the kyb shocks to oem would make the car ride better?

I was considering coilovers but I’m not sure if it’s worth spending more money on these if it’s not gonna improve the ride quality.

Sadly I think KYB is the only strut/shock maker for our IS. However, I haven't heard anything about the roughness about KYB w/ any lowering springs.

Depending on the coilovers you get the spring rates might be rougher than Swifts you currently have.

Upgrading to coils are worth the money.

There’s also Koni’s and Tokico’s which I think are the stock shocks. Yea that’s why I wasn’t sure about getting coilovers.

Which coils are more on the comfort side? This is my daily driver so I wouldn’t be using it for the track.
