Best for the VIP look and lowering with kits etc. is an airbag suspension. But it's more costly. Definitely the most baller depending on what you're after. As far as "best" coilovers available, what are you looking to spend? There are high end brands and very cheap ones. BC makes a great product, Tein makes anything from all out race to more mild street mannered. I personally am running the Tein street basis z set. Cheapest and lowest functionally available, but great for just lowering and street driving. Depends on what you want out of your coilovers. Do you need adjustable dampening etc.?

Would you recommend the Teins or the Bc coil set for quality?

I've never ran BC and have had two cars now with Tein coilovers and one with just Tein springs. There's nothing negative I can say about any product of theirs I've owned. I haven't developed any leaks and the ride is good. But I haven't actually had them on this car that long. And the car has sat most of that time with engine/trans modifications going on. I don't think you can beat the quality of Tein, even in their cheaper lineup. They are only cheaper because they have less functions, not because they are a junk product. So if you only need basics like me, I wouldn't shy away from a set. I'll never be on a track or anything with this car. The way they designed the basis z set is a perfectly matched spring and shock ideal for most driving conditions. I wouldn't want it stiffer or softer. Good all rounder at all times.

Will jump in on this if that's ok - save posting a new thread for essentially same thing!

I'm hearing a lot of good things about BC coilovers...
Though I haven't managed to figure out what the difference in their series V1 to BR is in terms of what they offer?

Does anyone know in lay terms?

A little more in for on Tein. They are probably the best bang for the buck coilovers made. I currently have the Tein Flex Z, plus EDFC and Motors (which are not installed), but am about to sell my setup because I have outgrown them. How have I outgrown them you ask? My car is a track/show car and I need a stiffer setup. The Flex Z's are great, but I have have too much dive, since installing my front and rear BBK.

I will probably buy either Aragosta or HPI/DG5.
