1992 sc400 pulls to the right and the left - need help...
Hi,
i recently changed my winter wheels (16'') to my summer summer wheels (18''). They are bigger and larger.
I then realised as i drove the car than it was pulling some times. I recently changes the front right lower control arm so i was scared that was the problem ($$$).
Now im not sure because i was on the highway going over 100km/h and the car would go straight no problem.
But then sometimes i feel like im having a battle for the control of the car with the steering Wheel.
Earlier, i started driving without touching the steering Wheel and the car would pull to the left but as when i gave it more gas, the car went straight to the right.
its really scary driving on bumpy roads, because the car just goes left and right and i need to battle with the steering to keep it straight.
Thanks for the help and sorry for the sloppy explaination...

If you've got fresh lower control arms I'd check two things: firstly hit the alignment shop and double check your specs (also check inner/outer tie rods and steering rack at the same time). Secondly, sounds like old struts could also be giving you issues based on poor performance over bumps as you've described.

it's not just at low speeds. Earlier today i was driving home and when i let go of the steering wheel, the car would tend to go to the right and then after 200m it realigned and went straight. Sometimes it pulls to the left and 2 seconds later it pulls to the right. I also starded feeling some vibrations in the steering wheel. Thanks
