Default Damned pothole!!!!

and i wasnt even going fast. it was in a residential neighborhood....

This is where the steering wheel has to be for the car to drive "straight"...

and when it IS straight...this is where the passenger front sits

went to have it checked out to see if it was something as simple as an alignment. NOPE!!! bent UCA and i need a new lower ball joint. im sick...

I hit a curb recently and my steering wheel is sitting where yours is too except both front wheels are still sitting straight. I still gotta get mine checked out too, hopefully I don't need any new parts. Hope you get it fixed soon though.

Hate potholes. I do my best to avoid them but some of them just creep up on you. It don't take much to throw the alignment off on these cars. I know this would hurt the pockets a bit but I would highly recommend that you replace the UCA and LBJ in pairs.

Damn that sucks ***.. can you take a pick of the damaged UCA and the LBJ? I had hit a monster pothole once on my driver's side, cracked a rim and wasn't able to get the car properly aligned. when I took to a shop (STI) they said they didn't know what was bent..lol so much for them. I've been chasing this damaged part of the front end for a while. cost me a set of tires all ready. just changed the stock UCA's for SPC ones. hope i'm on the right track... anyway good luck.
