this is my 2 cents. i do NOT hold anything against it coz' i personally never have it. but from what i know, they are pretty new. in the past few months they have been booming quite a bit, suddenly released quite a few kits for diffrent cars. before that no one even know about it besides the accord guys (from what i heard, again). if anything, i am more concerned about their long term reliability. if someone can provide that data that would be awesome. of course track testing and stuff would be nice too.
I installed a set of these on a friend's car. To me, the quality of the workmanship wasn't bad at all. I was pretty impressed. my .02cents? If I didn't originally order the brake kit I am currently awaiting, I would of probably went thru Rotora. There is a 6-piston Rotora set-up for the GS line as well guys. I think that retailed for 2795. The retail price on the 4piston is 1795. Steve's price on this was about 1400 right? thats a good price.
We started out as an OEM manufacturer (calipers, brake pads, rotors, and drums). In 2001, we opened their doors to the high performance and the aftermarket scenes. This prospect gave our engineers the chance to create the performance brake system of their dreams, which would never have been possible in an OEM environment.
Despite being a new company in the high performance and the aftermarket scenes, our Research and Development division has over 20 years experience as an OEM manufacturer. We offered our engineers the freedom to explore and craft what they will perceive as the perfect, yet affordable braking system for the consumers.
Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at 626-369-0401 or visit our web site at www.rotora.com

Thanks for stopping by and answering some questions. What OEM cars did your brakes fit? Are you import or domestic or both when it comes to fitments? What would you recongnize as Rotora's best trait? Looks, price, performance, a mix of all?
As many have stated, we are kinda skeptical to buy anyone's brakes and more input would be appreciated, thanks.
Our OE brake system are use by Yamaha, Nissan, and other main auto/motorcycle manufactures. We are not at liberty of stating our entire OE customer base (I hope you will understand).
Our performance brake system’s best trait is all of the traits that you have stated. Our price level is the most affordable, our design of the caliper is accepted by the market, and our performance is well accepted in the Subaru and Honda end users. Rotora has yet received a single call from any of our consumers regarding any negative option/satisfaction of our products.
The hesitation to purchase a brake system from a new company is totally understandable. We just hope that the Club Lexus Forum will give us an opportunity to proof ourselves that our brake system works and perform to the expectations of the Club Lexus members.

rotara - thanks for the info! Might be more personal if you gave us your first name by the way. Mine's Paul. Anyway... one question - why don't you have other colors of caliper like black and silver? Thanks.
