Default Lowering Spring Install Help!

Long time lurker, first time poster (I think) lol. Anyway, I am having some trouble installing some springs. I have all the necessary tools and I was successful installing the FL lowering spring. Moving on to the FR lowering spring, the little flat tab piece that sits behind the nut for the C arch is seized/stuck. I tried everything short of cutting it off (but that is a huge gamble). Is it possible to remove the 19MM bolt securing the strut to the C arch and disconnect the upper ball joint and outer tie rod end and free the strut assembly that way? Or what other route is there to take?

I should note that the picture below is not of my car, just closest thing I could find on google.

I don't think you would be able to remove the spring/strut without getting the control arm out of the way. Why don't you just cut the head off the bolt and hammer it through. You could cut it, get a grinder and grind the head off too..
