Default Would IS350 Calipers and rotors work on SC300?

I have a set of IS350 big brake calipers (oem) and rotors (front), would these work on the SC300?

I see a ton of people using the LS400 brakes but they look fairly small compared to the IS350 oem brake calipers.

This is actually a brilliant question. Supra brakes original finish doesn't hold up well to dust and heat at all. In for an answer

The newer IS350 front calipers look massive compared to the LS brakes.

Someone mentioned this before apparently. I'd love to see it.

Well damn, I may need to take mine off my IS and test them on the front of the SC. Problem is... I haven't received my SC yet...

Pic for reference on my IS (2007)

After doing some research, it looks like it could work. If i remember correctly, the only thing I for see as an issue is the brake lines will be on the bottom and not the top since the SC's front brakes face the rear, and IS350 faces the front. I can foresee loose catching or breaking the line will be an issue. (i could be wrong on the placement of the brake lines, lemme go out to my car to check)

Also the IS350 rotors have 3 different offsets from the different years. 06-08 is different from 09-10, and then it changed again in 2011 to 2013 to accommodate the IS350 AWD so rotors would have to be very specific

I would say get your hand on a set of OEM 250 calipers, borrow them from a friend or autostore and then return them after and use that as your test bed because if you can get those to work then you can definitely get the 350's to work. Custom brackets can always be created, I've seen people do them for corvette calipers.

Edit: They are dead center so ignore first part!

Do the IS-F brakes fit IS350 without modification? Because the IS-F brake calipers are bolt on to the SC chassis

EDIT: IS-F rotors bolt on, calipers MAY bolt on, but no evidence has been found

The IS350 requires swapping the front hub from the IS-F to work If I remember correctly.

Are you sure the IS-F caliper and rotors bolt up directly to the SC knuckle? or are you saying the IS-F caliper can just bolt up to a SC knuckle?

I know when people do the Z06 calipers they use IS-F rotors and require a mounting bracket to space out the corvette caliper. I'd imagine an IS-F caliper would need the same amount of spacing.

I am 75% sure that someone on this forum did full IS-F brakes (calipers and rotors) onto an SC. Ill will search and get back to you

EDIT: Cant find any info relating to the calipers bolting on..someone with an SC and IS-F may need to do a little experiment for us

Thanks for sharing, it appears some minor customization is needed.
