is350 caliper
Im looking to upgrade to is350 brakes and will be purchasing used calipers. Should I be worried about the mileage on the calipers. Obviously lower is better but above how many should I be steering away from. Are calipers a part that I should worry about failing? Thanks in advance.
There are parts on all calipers that can fail, but the FRONT IS350 calipers seem to hold-up well to mileage. Not really any issues with seizing up or faulty piston seals or such things. Just look for lower mileage and any signs of brake fluid leakage.
I've not had to research this swap myself, as I have an IS350 already; but I believe you will need matching rotors, of course brake pads, and I also believe the IS350 dust shield is needed too.
