Coilover install cost
Got quoted $250 to have coilovers installed, does that sound about right or am I getting ripped?
thanks -

i usually charge $100. its fairly simple since most come out the box at the desired ride height

Both are in the ballpark figure depending on the labor rate in your city/state. I would definitely get a second quote though.

Wow those are bargain prices!
Here in the Bay Area most shops would probably charge you $400-500 minimum. Half the time to install and the other half to dial in the height (which proved quite time consuming if you are picky)

Why not do it your self and spend that money on some tools? :honest question not trolling:

I'll tell you guys a secret, the first thing I have ever done with no prior automotive history was a coilover Install on my Xb at 16. It's straightforward just have friends help you put

I agree. Nothing too difficult and you'll save yourself money.

Take the plunge and do it yourself. I installed coilovers on my Z by myself. Shouldn't be too different from other cars.

Coilover install referral needed in Los Angeles
Hey guys,
06 SC 430, looking for anyone who knows a good shop in Los Angeles that installs coil overs for a reasonable price. Prefer if they’ve worked with Lexus, etc. Arigatou.
