Default MOOG outer tie rods

I just bought outer tie rods along with the lower ball joints from the seller on ebay autoparts.titan1 that was listed in a previous thread. The tie rods are not silver like the ball joints and do not have the 555 stamp on them. I messaged the seller and he said they are made by MOOG just some in the USA and some in Japan. These outer tie rods also have those zerk grease fittings on the underside of the flat circular part. Should I keep these or return them and find the silver MOOG ones that I believe don't have those zerk fittings?

MOOG is MOOG
555 is 555..

Moog boxes MOOG and 555... both from what i hear are good to go.

Zerk fitting = MOOG parts
Silver no fitting = 555 parts.

long as the parts are matching, i.e. left and right have zerk or left and right are silver it should be ok

dang thanks for the quick response! ok so they both have the zerk fittings so I guess I will keep them. do I just have to screw on the zerk fitting to the underside when I'm installing them? my lower ball joints are the silver 555 ones and they came with the zerk fittings also but I don't see a hole on the underside for them to screw into. Are they supposed to go somewhere else on the lower ball joint?

the LBJ im not too sure since i dont have them personally.

i do have Moog outter tie rods with zerk fittings and have the silver 555. (yes i have both lol)

for the outter you can screw in the zerk fitting prior of installing it on the inner tie rod. This way you seal the hole from any contaminants that can get in and cause premature wear.
