stock suspension = kyb?
i been searching on the forum and noticed people are saying the stock suspension replacement are kyb. are they the kyb gr2 or is it some other kyb?
the reason why i ask is because i will pair them with espelir and was unsure if i should purchase stock or kyb gr2 suspension.

Mileage on your car?
If you car has less then 125K or less don't even bother with it. KYB GR-2 is very similar to stock but I can't ganrantee that. I installed it my car. I can't tell the difference thought. What ever you do, DON'T GET IT AT KYB OUTLET OR JUSTSUSPENSION.COM. I think they selling rejected parts.
Be side stock strut are cheaper then KYB nowaday. Look it up at Sewell and Toyotacarson.com
Honestly speaking. I think you should consider coilover. because there is no point of replacing the strut/shock alone without replacing both the front/rear strust mounts. Your total components may add up costing you more then a set of coilover Megan EZ.

I actually regret replaced my oem strut/shock at 98K miles. All kind of noise clunking/squeaking started to resonate after the new shocks was installed. Mostly at the front. You better let the professional do the job. Use lube and grease where required.
