should i replace to 2 fronts or just one side to see if it resolves the problem...also what can damage the part...i know for a fact that the mechanic could have damaged the bearings. i just need a explanation on how?
If the car drove fine before the collision whatever has changed as a result of the collision is the problem. 90% of the time it is a tire/wheel imbalance problem causing what you describe. Wheel bearings worn enough to cause this are obvious when you jack that wheel off the ground & spin it while listening to it spin. If you are in O.C. CA I can look at it for you. Have you checked air psi in your tires?
im in sacrametno i wish you could look at the car for me the psi is adjusted correctly . I know for a fact they damaged the car. First the put a after market fender that ripped up my tire. 2nd the didnt tighten the lug nuts at ALL like the rim was bouncing, and finALLY they stripped not one BUT 2 studs...i MEAN WTFFF...im so heated and my insurance company was like its my suspension and blah blah blah ...and that i need a alignment...they dont understand that the alignment has nothing to do with vibration....im so heated ..im not trying to spend this dough on it

so, you're willing to spend money on fixing up your 2is, but not so much when it comes to fixing your 2is? you may need to reassess that attitude - even if you didn't break it.
without addressing all of the hindsight issues (and there are a few, but again, it's all in hindsight), i recommend taking it to an independent lexus specialist and perform a thorough inspection and diagnostics. if you have none, your next best (or worst, depending on how you look at it) is the dealership.
i understand the need for you to be resourceful, but you obviously have an issue that needs to be addressed, and asking about it here hasn't seemed to resolve said issue.
btw, if "they" really did damage your car, i'd start asking them to cover the cost of repairs, or consider hiring a lawyer to represent you to get this taken care of.

Did they replace the damaged studs properly & lug nuts too? Was the wheel center hole damaged? If the wheel is not centered & secured on the hub it will cause vibration.

i appreciate the advice. What i meant with spending on the car was with damage i didnt cause. thats what i was talking about.
i will be taking it to a mechanic soon. Im hoping someone could recommend me to one in the north cali area
You had an accident that required fender replacement?
Are you sure it's a rotating part? Are you feeling it through the steering wheel, or just the left front side of the car is shaking?
Is there a possibility that the fender/bumper/liner/skirting was not properly installed, then it's picking up wind at 80mph and flopping around?
well thank you everyone i finally went to another shop located in stockton AUTO SPORT 209 shout out to John...he rotated the tire on the tire balance machine thiny (excuse the minimal knowledge) and showed me that it was a bent tire. WHen the shop that replaced the tire said it wasnt.... i appreciate everyone feed back . Insurance company said they will give me a response by tuesday i hope this is it
