Are these arms in testing yet or are we still looking at another 6 months wait or more?

How many miles you make a year? Do you switch tires to the other side of the rim to wear the other edge?

Hope these parts are made soon though. Seems the rear drop arms will be ready first.

not as many as i used to with my michelin energy MXV4's

no i cant my michelin PS2's are directional and rotational so they couldnt be rotated. the federals are directional so they could be moved front to back but my tire sizes in the rear are to big to run in my front so im stuck not being able to rotate them at all

Sorry must not have posted previously. I have a new arm with a GS guy to test and get me some feedback. Will post up shortly on results.

Also, Brian you should see tire wear improvements from the sperhical bearings. The #2 bushings deflects quite a bit under braking.

Mike at Figs, once again I've been gone for a while but I'll try to stick around. Are the sphericals available for my '09 is250 RWD? I saw your video and was very impressed with how the movement was drastically reduced. What effect do these have on the caster numbers?. I'll look up your prices on your site if you have a fit for my car. When the UCSs are ready I'll order the full front and rear arms and do it all at once. On the UCAs, will you be offering ball joints so a guy can have replacments on his shelf for the future ( how difficult will ball joint replacement be and with normal steeet street driving (not lowered) how long can a guy expect them to last? I love this car and expect to keep it a long time. I have been advised to have my settings at 0.05 toe and -0.4 deg. or -0.5 deg. (?) camber.
They feel that any less camber would make the car not feel or handle right. Their opinion is that around 95+% of cars have a camber in the 0.4-0.6 degs range and that I will get the best tire wear this way. What do you think? Again Mike, thanks for all your info. and input. Have a great day ...... JOE

No I ment actually taking the tire off the wheel on one side and installing it on the opposite side wheel. That way the tire still rotates the same dirrection, just now being worn on the other edge due to your negitive camber. Leaving the tire on the wheel and switching side not only makes the tire rotate in opposite direction it also dosent help as the edge being worn is still on the inside, so even non directional / rotational tires would need to be taken off the wheel and remounted.

Just a small tip to double your millage till we can get our hands on these arms from figs.

Also it's usually the toe setting from dropping the car that eats the tires super fast not the camber. Camber eats tires, yes, but with proper toe there should be a good many miles done first. Toe in the front is adjusted by the tierods and in the rear Figs has the toe links for the 2gen.

My biggest concern with these arms is for someone with uas bags and trying to go the typical vip route (larger wheels, proper fitiment, negitive camber). The bags already come very close to the spindle arm when deflated. If the camber adjustment is done with the UCA, and one is trying to go negitive this will move the spindle arm even closer to the bag. I have a 20X10 in the front so my wheel already is within a few MM from the spindle arm so any weaker offset dosn't work. To tuck my front in instead of curently poking I need to go more negitive, but then the bags will rub sooner. I wish we could push the bottom out (like the rear with Figs mega/drop arms) instead of having to pull the top in to go negitive, and try to clear the UAS bags. I know i'm just one example and theres many different setups but the people who have UAS bags would buy these arms because they're looking for that adjustment for camber, positive or negitive. Even other bag setups may have some more clearence but maybe not enough once going negitive, Seems I read some other setups start rubbing with just adding RCA's. As the car lowers the UCA pulls the spindle arm in faster and faster closer to the bags.

I asked him about updates on FB this week and this was his response.

"Still a few things in the works. Need to get some focus back on that."
