Those of you with RCA's and slammed, did it help decrease UCA banging?
I've been looking into them but the only reason why I would buy them and justify the big price tag is to decrease my UCA banging my fenders. I know some of you will tell me to hack my car but i would rather not now. I'd rather raise it then cut holes in my engine bay.
I understand how they work and allow more travel but from how i'm picturing them, the UCA is still going to sit at the same height. Someone correct me if i'm wrong and those of you with them, share your experiences.
the only way to make it stop banging is to cut a hole on top, or get aftermarket control arms that allows you to shorten the arm travel, and in extreme cases, both.
threw on some 18's with more rubber and raised it about half an inch, no banging so far. Now i have to get rid of freeway shaking. I'm getting closer and closer to going back to stock!
