This is on my to do list.

Since I have never seen a M10x1.0 tee in my life, what about it being custom made? Just a block of aluminum with 3 M10x1.0 tapped holes. How does the stock fittings seat inside? On a angled seal or a thread locker/teflon tape type of a thing?

Also, for a more simple fitting...

Just get 1 of these tees and 3 fittings per axle (so 2 tees and 6 fittings total).

I am going to see what my supplier can do to make this very simple.

Here is the thread where i removed mine. I hope this helps a little. You dont need a custom made tees, the corollas (93-99) got them.

No problems guys on the pro abs comments stuff. I was actually expecting a bigger response to this thread, mostly negative.

RedPhoenix - agreed with LEX_MAN, no need for custom fittings, Toyota makes them. They are on some Corollas, Tundras (non ABS, t to the rear wheels) and others I'm sure.

LEX_MAN - props on doing it the best way and running all new lines! I am too lazy to do it that way myself. I had searched and didn't find your thread. Great job though!

I'm assuming it's already "broken" and I never have it on anyways. That one burnout really did the trick haha...

One (or both) of your front 02 sensors is bad. But you're better off replacing both.

Just got done removing the ABS and TRAC hardware, and it took about 3.5 hours or so, including breaks I took (it's 95 degrees here today.) I still have to remove the brake lines from the firewall. Looks like I might be able to slide each one out without having to remove too much from in front of the firewall.

I'll be painting the newly exposed areas in the near future.

This would have been 10,000 times easier if I had done it during my swap when the old engine was out of the engine bay. Hindsight.

The parts weigh every bit of 40+ pounds. That stuff is not light. I'm looking forward to mounting my battery in the passenger side void where these parts used to be. I'm also getting the itch to relocate some stuff now that there's more space and I can see where everything is better. Maybe relocate some harnesses.

Man I love your supercharger Bro! I wonder if this would work on a sc400 98vvti? What's the cost for the kit?

Check out the new setup = https://www.clublexus.com/forums/per...tor-in-v8.html

There is not really a kit. You can get the bracket for the supercharger from Lextreme.com

Does the cruise control still work will all the ABS/TRAC crap removed? I'm doubtful that the two systems are intertwined but I don't know **** about either, so I'm a little curious.

I don't have a pic handy but the traction motor is on the firewall side of the throttle body (unless you've flipped your intake like I have) and isn't noticable incase that's what your worried about.

I'm pretty sure removing the trac / abs won't do anything to the cruise as they are two seperate systems. I can't say for sure as I removed the cruise long before I took out the trac / abs.

KC

You can kind of see what it looks like here but again, not noticeable with a stock intake setup - https://www.clublexus.com/forums/per...tor-in-v8.html

I was just under the hood of my car looking around, I would like to see someone do a clean-up and explanation of the throttle body and all of its parts. I would love to go to pull-a-part and get a throttle body from an SC400 that had no trac. control. So as I see it the TPS is the clossest to the intake and te trac ontrol motor and the trac TPS is clossest to the air intake side. If we're removing the trac. motor we would surely remove the trac TPS sensor as well.

I have a rear brake line with a rust hole in it at about the underside of the trunk area. My local PRO brake and muffler shop is acting really sheepish about splicing onto the good part of the line in front of the fuel filter. I beleive Ill be picking it up and doing the TRAC delete/ ABS delete. The mech. was talking to me on the phone and said he thought the connector under the trunk was a pressure reducer to reduce pressure to the rear brakes. Ive never heard that, and am hoping to get more input about this mod, cause Im getting ready to do it.
