Default Full Suspension Setup

Brakes set aside, what would the full suspension setup look like?

Coilovers
Sways
Front and rear strut bar
And... braces? control arms?

Also is there any way to get a ride like stock (no under / oversteer) but just without the body roll / bounciness?

Can't remember who, but as an OG put it, the undercarriage of your GS will look like a "crayola box"

All those pieces plus TOM's 6 link. You could opt for Daizen control arm bushings instead of $$$ control arms. I have the bushings and they made a nice difference . Also Daizen steering rack bushings.

Do a search, there are endless amounts of threads on info on suspension setups. Lots of good stuff . Good luck!

What are you looking to do with the car, what are your goals?

I'm looking to have a sporty ride. I don't care that much about comfort. But taking turns in the GS is scary sometimes. I know it's not a race car but common I mean taking a wide turn at 80 shouldn't be scary. I might even track but I just want good handling.

this is what i recommend:

polyurethane bushings front control arms set and steering rack
coilover
sway bar
sway bar endlink (if you drive hard)
ss kit (rca blocks)

you can skip the bushings and go straight to aftermarket control arms if you have $$$.

currently i have all bushings, coilover, tightened steering rack, and a really good alignment. it feels fairly sporty but i'm planning to stiffen it up even more.

Start with sways, and changing up your springs/shocks.

For springs/shocks, you can go full tilt with coilovers, new s/s combo, or just the shocks (no height change).

Then work from there if you need even more stiffness.

Daizen sways+bilstein HD shocks (original springs) is enough for me.

Also, your tires is an unstated component to your ride and handling. Despite picking a performance oriented tire, increasing the pressure a few psi can make as much difference as some of those other components.

Alright sways it is first. Hopefully that eliminates all body roll. What are the endlinks and control arms for?
