hey guys, i wanted to know what you have your dampers set at (1-16) for whatever height you have it set. i kept all settings as they came from the factory but am feeling that the front dampers need to be stiffened up. for those suspension gurus (if there are any on CL ) will setting a stiffer shock up front than in the back cause unwanted behavior? im guessing itll want to oversteer more with a tight front and loose rear.

14in front / 10 in back.... feels good to me.

Then again, i often have them set at 0/0 on the street, so go figure :P

In regards to springs in general, if you transfer stiffness to the front by:
1. putting in stiffer springs in the front only
2. putting softer springs in the rear, or
3. a combination of the above,

you'll probably increase understeer. Setting the dampers have some of the same effect as changing the stiffness of the springs so doing the same (transferring stiffness to the front) will most likely increase understeer.
